So as mentioned in my last blog post, my novel Scarred was long-listed for the 2022 Adaptable Program run by the Queensland Writers Centre. I'm now very pleased to announce I've made the shortlist, which means I'll be pitching my novel to be adapted for film and television to producers at the Gold Coast Film Festival on April 21. Hopefully the novel will be as well-received by the panel of film and television producers as it has been by book critics.
As always I've had a few things going on in the meantime. Last Friday I appeared on The Morning Show on 2NUR FM to discuss my podcast Broken Chains. You can listen to the recording here. I've also now hit double-digits for appearances on other people's podcasts. My 10th podcast interview, with Jacob Little's Survivor Stories, also went up earlier this month.
